Edges Challenge Update #1
I know I’m super late with this, but better late than never! To see my before pictures, click here. The first picture is the left side of my head, the second is the right.
In June, I started a healthy edges challenge committing to use a Jamaican black castor oil and peppermint oil blend to massage into my edges nightly.
These past two months I switched over to 100% JBCO and have used it on my edges most nights.
To reiterate from my first post, my hair is fine and low density. I’ve never had really thick edges, however, I started the challenge because I knew my edges were not in a state I’d like them to be in.
It’s kind of hard to fully see due to lighting and my front facing camera, but there has definitely been an improvement since I started this in June.
I will continue to use castor oil over the next few months and may make it a part of my hair care regimen.
Have you used JBCO on your edges before? Did it help?
